Grape variety: Rebo, a native red grape variety obtained from the crossing of Merlot and Teroldego in 1948 by Rebo Rigotti, a well-known geneticist from Trentino.
Vineyards: Rebo has found its ideal location in the Valle dei Laghi, home of its creator. Thanks to the nature of the earth combined with a mild and airy microclimate, the best grapes for this structured wine are obtained.
Vinification & Aging: after crushing-destemming, a maceration and fermentation at controlled temperature takes place for over 15 days, followed by an aging of over 12 months in large oak barrels.
Organoleptic Characteristics: a ruby red color with purple hues.On the nose, it presents intense and distinct aromas of wild berries, with a clear memory of blueberry and raspberry.On the palate, it is full-bodied, velvety and well structured with a persistent finish.
Tasting & Pairing: to be served in large glasses at a temperature of 16-18 ° C.Rebo is an ideal accompaniment for traditional Trentino dishes, but also red and grilled meats.If kept in a good cellar, this wine can age for several years.
