Grape variety: Teroldego, autochthonous red grape variety of Trentino.It is believed that the name derives from the German "Tiroler Gold" (Tyrolean gold).
Vineyards: from the vineyards of the Az Agr Toblino - Bio Certificata located at the bottom of the Valle dei Laghi, with alluvial soils containing granite debris from the Brenta Dolomites and Adamello. The territory benefits from a mild and airy microclimate thanks to the wind called "Ora del Garda" and to the high surrounding rock walls that absorb and retain heat.
Vinification & Aging: after crushing-destemming, maceration and fermentation takes place in contact with the skins at a controlled temperature for over 10 days. Subsequently, the wine is aged for at least 12 months in large oak barrels.
Organoleptic Characteristics: ruby red color with distinctive purplish shades.On the nose, it is clean with flavors of raspberry and berries.On the palate, it is full-bodied, structured, dry with well-balanced tannins and a pleasant finish.
Tasting & Pairing: best served in large glasses at a temperature of 16-18 ° C.Simply perfect with meat-based dishes, but it can also be paired with tasty pasta dishes and tasty cheeses.
