Grape variety: Lagrein, a vine native to the South Tyrol particularly suitable for the production of pleasant rosés.
Vineyards: from the vineyards of Az Agr Toblino - Bio Certificata, Lagrein has found an ideal location in the alluvial plain of the Sarca river which also offers sandy and light soils. The mild and airy microclimate contributes to the perfect ripening of the grapes.
Vinification & Aging: after crushing-destemming, a short cold maceration takes place in contact with the skins which gives the wine its characteristic rosé color. This is followed by a fermentation at a controlled temperature and a short aging in stainless steel.
Organoleptic Characteristics: bright rosé with vivid cherry color nuances. A delicate nose reminiscent of red fruits. Fresh, defined but elegant on the palate, with a good structure.
Tasting & Pairing: best served young at a temperature of 12-14 ° C in medium-sized glasses.Very versatile in combinations, ideal for the whole meal and with light dishes, including fresh fish.It also goes well with pizza and cold cuts.
